Julien Pacaud:

His work involves the geometrical guidelines of life that are distorted in a way to make it look surreal. He produces work about what the world is like and how we engage with it. I like his work because it creates a surreal image of the world that we live in which is exactly what I want to do in my final peice but with media.
Kieron Cropper:

kieron Cropper (also known as Cur3es) is good because his work is about organising the chaos in life. This is why he involves many images in one photo that are sometimes linked, but sometimes not. I like his work because the distortion of the images put together make them work as a peice which is what I will learn to do when creating my final peice.
Jesse Treece:

Her work involves the blending of natural places mixed with the modern day experiences we have through life. I like this work because it carries a strong message of how we engage with our environment. I want to redreate this message but the environment is media.
Ben Giles:

Ben takes situations in daily life and then turns them into another story by creating an unrealistic collage on that picture. I like his work because he changes the meanings of the photos that he makes into collages. This is what I will do when creating my final peice because I will take the landscape photos and make it into a background of a type of media.
These artists made me think of how real images can be taken and turned into things that become unreal. It made me realise how we can take a bunch of images, from pictures that the artist themselves have taken and others that they haven't, and then blend them together ot make a whole new and interesting context. I wanted to use these idea in my final peice and so I thought of how the media is unrealistic and we lose ourselves in the media so that we lose touch of the reality of our lives. Maybe this is why we have media.
